i I received the product yesterday and I chargedit and it didnt work i keep reading about it and still couldnt get it to work. The product wont come on r work as described. Can get no response from the manufacturer.

Verified Reviewer |I had placed an order for delvery and it was nerver delivered now i am 7 days with no food or money and an over drawn account.
On 6/6/24, I placed an order for delivery and I received an email stating it had been processed and would be delivered between 1 pm and 2 pm. By 7 pm, there was no word or notification of any issues, so I went online to inquire about the order via the chat feature.
The customer service representative told me that my order would be delivered between 1 pm and 2 pm on 6/6/24. I then had to point out that it was now 7 pm on 6/6/2024. They were unable to provide any information as to the delay, so I canceled the order. I was informed that it would take 3 to 5 days for the refund to be processed, which is outrageous.
If they can take the money out instantly, they can surely put it back. After reaching out multiple times, I was told it should be refunded by 6/17/2024. On 6/13/2024, I reached out again and that is when I spoke to a supervisor. I was then offered a $20 credit to the account.
Now, if they can put a $20 credit on the account, why couldn't they credit the $90 order, so I could order food? With that $20 credit, after the delivery fee and a tip, I would only have $5 left to spend on food. I don't know what reality they live in where that would be sufficient, but I certainly don't live there. Thus, in my case, you can pay for a service that you don't receive (which is a violation according to the FTC website) and as a penalty for canceling an order you never received, you have your funds held, are deprived of food, and incur bank fees.
Even after you do get your funds of $90 back, that leaves you with $20.
Oh, wait, then the overdraft fees will accumulate. Shopping at Acme can cause severe mental, financial, and health issues.
Update It is now the 6/17/2024 Still no funds returned and mt over draft fees have now reached 150 and with late fees from the billers of 65

Several items were also damaged. My cherry tomatoes were all over the bag; the container they came in obviously was not secure, and the tomatoes were scattered, causing me to throw them out. Two of the stems on my flowers had fallen off, which happens every single time I order them - which is approximately every week. I forget what else I put in a request for, but I am complaining because someone needs to check these orders to ensure that you're not giving people damaged items.
When I order deli salads, the containers never have tight lids. I think it's because they don't fit properly, but either way, the salads are never secure. Furthermore, the stuffed mushrooms were all over their container, resulting in food that was unappetizing. I didn't receive three items that I wanted, one substituted item was something I don't eat, and there were damaged items.
All in all, I can't believe that I would have to pay for this order.

When I go into acme markets in Avondale I always see people on the phone. It's annoying.
I've never seen people on the phone at any retail store ever and that's including Walmart big places like that and I've never seen anybody on the phone and the fast food place I would say would stop. They're not paying attention my order

I stopped in to pick up a few items at the Warren, NJ location on my way home after a Dr. appointment in the area.
I went to the bakery to attempt to purchase some cupcakes for a birthday. The woman behind the counter took at least 10 minutes to acknowledge me in spite of me looking over and moving to where I'd be noticed, and I had to finally stare at her to get her to look at me. When she did finally come over to me, she seemed very apprehensive. I told her I wanted 5 cupcakes and when she was removing them from the shelf, she seemed very unsure of herself and moved them back in, then out again, and finally disappeared out of view, I assumed, to box them.
After waiting at least another 5 minutes, I had enough and left without them. I have no idea why I waited 15-20 minutes for 5 cupcakes to be put into a box aside from not having the time to go to another store. Needless to say, I now have to go elsewhere to make a bakery purchase for a birthday tomorrow.
Then I attempted to email a complaint through your website (https://www.acmemarkets.com/inquiry/contact-us.html) and it wouldn't work. This isn't a way to keep customers satisfied.

Rude employee
at the self check out i was told that i could only have 15 or less items. i wasn't sure how many i had but it wasn't a large cart.
there were quite a few open check out stations. this has never happened to me before. i also felt she was rude.
i have a hard time loading my groceries at the regular check outs. the self check out loading of groceries is a lot easier for me as i have a bad shoulder.

The only good thing I have to say about Acme is that I worked there through college in the 70s. Their philosophy has not changed: limited selection at high prices.
They do just enough for the consumer to get by. Their digital coupons never work, and employees do not offer to help you get the discount.
They are probably the most expensive food store around. I try to avoid it as much as possible.

Complaint
I got a 28 day supply of Olympic approved from the insurance company while my Doctor files his appeal. When I went to pick it up at the Norton store, they were out of stock.
There was only a 5 day allotment of days to pick it up. I have been trying since. This is not my fault. I tried to pick it up.
Since then, I was hospitalized. Still don't have it and fighting with insurance.
Your company should fight it. You were out of stock and caused this!

Their Mahwah, NJ store is pathetic in so many ways. I don't remember ever having a smooth experience. There is a ShopRite a mile or so from them, in Ramsey, which is a store worth shopping at.

A customer joined ACME Markets and gave my email address, not their own.
No verification email was issued by ACME.
I've had regular emails, till receipts, offers etc since 2021, and I can't get them to STOP.
The UNSUBSCRIBE button doesn't work, it gives a 404 error message.
Emails don't work - I get the same errors.
I'm so fed up with being harassed by this company.
Preferred solution: Apology for harassment and removal of my email address from their system.

An ACME customer has used my personal email address and because I don't live in USA I can't Unsubscribe or contact ACME to get it stopped.
I've been bombarded with emails for over 3 years now and am totally fed up.
Why is there no online info with an email address to contact?
Why does the unsubscribe button not work?

the absolute worst place to work is narberth Acme, were do i began...
for starters they are very raceist, i sat downstairs and listen to both my ASD and Store manger talk about my coworker like a dog and i mind you she is a young black female , and they are two white males...
the office manger play sides she starts alot of trouble , she picks and chooses who she wants to give hours too , its mice infested witch is nasty. the night manger jess and abby . talk to customers like ***
people punch in whenever they want !!! store managers ( ASD is MIKE and store manger is MARIUS)are gossiping to the workers about other workers !!! they dont know how to solve issues!!! office manager is disclosing peoples pay rate! people stealing time and nothing happens!!! the union rep in the store tells everybody business!!!
customers coming in smoking in the bathroom crazy!!! they are targeting the black workers and its unfair to everyone!!! we are all leaving this horrible company due to lack of management all they do is sit in the office !!! Acme u didnt upload my 600 rewards. I shopped at Audubon NJ Acme but free turkey digital coupon wouldnt load.
I talked to instore customer service( Pat) and she annoyingly and angrily said cant do anything call Acme U.I have shopped here 37+ yrs. I waited 45min to talk to a person after robot was useless. She said yes I had rewards but couldnt manually load coupon and to call in 1 hr. I called back and waited again about 45min and was told couldnt help me but if I went there and made another purchase I could call to try with them the next day.
I spent almost 3hrs wasting my time. I am elderly and disabled so I have to rely on someone to take me to store or shop for me.
Disappointed in Acme employee treating me so badly and Amazon u for not applying free turkey coupon that I was going to use to to feed friends that dont have family. I will no longer shop Acme.

Horrible place to work. They hire criminals and their bathrooms floors are soaked with urine. The manager in Salisbury steals time constantly and is very unprofessional.
