Customer complaint. Pharmacy employee Perri Grossi at 990 Shrewsbury Ave Tinton Falls NJ location. My Wife and I have been a pharmacy customer Mr Grossi and this location for 10 years. He knows me very well. As I have high prescription needs as a Type 2 diabetic. I have been by the pharmacy 3 to 4 times in the last few weeks for a flu shot. EVERY time I have been told not now, too busy. Not enough staff. Today was the same, yet again. It's getting later than it should be to get my flu shot. He said I had to wait at least an hour. He was short staffed yet again! I asked for a solution, could I set an appointment. And he said no.

His attitude was horrible. Blaming acme for his staffing issue. I said that's not my problem. And said he was being unreasonable to me. He then threatens to call the police on me! I asked for what? He said for "harassing".

I spoke to the store manager who said he's only been there 2 weeks. He apologized profusely. And said Mr Grossi threatening to call police was ridiculous.

Mr Grossi also never followed up on a script for a pneumonia shot she provided to him over a month ago. She had since gotten it from another pharmacy.

I am very frustrated. That Mr Grossi who knows me very well , I am no stranger off the street. Would treat me in this manner. I am demanding an apology from him either verbally or written. If not, I will be moving my business elsewhere. AND will pursue all channels and means necessary to ensure his employment with Acme is terminated asap.

Location: Newark, New Jersey

I see Perry Grossi's attitude is still disgusting and unprofessional when it pertains to flu shots. I was a new customer and went there to pick up a prescription.

I waited while he was helping another customer. Perry Grossi looked at me, walked over to his computer, and started rolling his eyes and loudly sighing. He took a while but my medication was running low, so I waited. I didn't know the reason for the wait or his surly attitude until he pulled out a flu shot tray and lead the other customer to a table.

A professional and courteous pharmacist would have said, "I'm prepping a flu shot. It'll be a while before i can help you. Do you mind waiting? " But Perry is not professional or courteous.

He took his frustration out on me for showing up while he was busy dealing with another customer, so I took my business elsewhere. I left and immediately transferred my prescription to another pharmacy.

It was my first and last visit. Oh well, soon he won't have to worry about any customers because the new Shoprite will shut Acme down.
